A blazing hot day saw Ashtead produce their finest display of football so far this season as they kept possession and a clean sheet. Ashtead pinned Halliford back into their half for the majority of the game and moved the ball with speed and precision; even the continue rotation of players didn't disrupt the flow although the Halliford goalkeeper produced some fine saves to keep the score down.
