Kapow!
The B's put on a sizzling hot performance this morning, knocking an impressive 10 goals past a game Molesey side. Mindful of last weeks slack first half display all nine members of the squad were present on time (thank you Mums and Dads!) and started the first half like they meant business. After sussing out the opposition for the first 5 minutes and coming close on a couple of occasions Bradley decided he liked the look of this lot and quickly thumped home a couple of goals. Jack O joined in on the fun with a brace and Ben got a fifth, between which we conceded a soft goal whilst our minds were on the goal hunt.
The second half was more of the same with Jack O and Ben completing their hat-tricks (congratulations boys!) and James chipping in with a double to show he can do more than just defend. In the middle of this Mateo supplied the ammo and left the field unsure how he didn't get on the score sheet. Another day!
A great team performance. The passing and fluidity of our moves was excellent, the effort was high and when we had to defend, particularly in the second half, we were firm in the tackle and cleared the ball well. It won't be this easy every week, but you have to take the opportunities when they come along and we did that today.
MOTM - A tough one this as several of the boys were in the frame and it was a great TEAM performance, but Ben Sutehall got the nod. Positive from the moment he took the field. Showed great skill with his runs and finished well when the chances arose.
