Match Report: Caterham Puma's A v Under 9's A: 2 - 2 Away Draw (League)

Excellent match, with plenty of good football from both teams. Ashetad took the lead towards the end of the first half with some good work from Jonnie Millett, setting up Danial Harding for his second of the season. In the second half playing with the wind, our boys thought they had it sown up after some great skill from Alex Creswell allowed Ethan Collumbell to break free and slip the ball past the keeper for 2-0. However, a brilliant goal from the Puma's kept them in the game and started to put Ashtead under pressure. That pressure finally proved too much and with about 10 mins left the Puma's equalised. The last 10 minutes were fairly frantic and both teams could have won it. Ashtead threw everything into the final few minutes and it nearly paid off when Sam Hunt's shot from a tight angle hit the post. Credit goes to both teams for an entertaining 50 minutes that was a good example of how to really play the game.
